What we collect
Only what a repair actually needs: your name, phone number, zip code, the repair you described, and your requested date and time. That's the whole list. Your request code (like SH-4K2P9) is a nickname for your booking so you can track it without logging in.
How we use it
Three things: to schedule and route the day's stops, to text you a confirmation and ETA, and to keep a service history so your mechanic knows your bike next time. Your zip code groups you into an Eastside or Westside route day. Nothing more..
What we never do
We don't sell your information. We don't send marketing you didn't ask for. We don't run ads on this site. The public availability calendar shows only which times are taken, never who booked them.
Where it lives
Bookings are stored in an encrypted cloud database with row-level security, meaning the data is locked to the roles that need it: you, your technician, and the owner. Staff accounts are password-protected, and the owner board is separate from this public site.
Cookies & local storage
We use browser storage for exactly two things: remembering whether you prefer light or dark mode, and keeping your half-finished booking form if you get interrupted. No tracking pixels, no analytics profiles, no third-party ad cookies.
Demonstration notice
This site is a working prototype built for a product challenge. Bookings and messages are stored for demonstration, no payment is processed, and no real texts are sent. Sample data you see on staff screens is fictional.
Your data, your call
Want your booking history deleted, or a copy of what we hold? Email hello@spokeandhub.com with your request code and it's handled within a few days, usually the same one.
